Bowater has environmental management controls at all of its facilities and on lands owned or managed by the company. We conduct both internal and third-party audits using specific indicators to assess our operations’ environmental performance. We are committed to a process of continuous improvement in our environmental stewardship.

Each of our operations establishes environmental objectives and targets and assesses progress annually towards their attainment.
